Welcome To Kindred Wines
Kindred Wine is a project of passion and love of wine and named after the term Kindred Spirits. The families of the winemaker and vintner have been friends and chosen family since 2004. Kindred Wines was started in 2018.
Kevin Jones a longtime wine collector teamed up with veteran winemaker Mike Smith to craft a dry Rose of Pinot Noir from the Sangiacomo vineyard in Sonoma and the rest is history. With six vintages under our belts, we have now added to our portfolio a Chardonnay from Sonoma, CA and a single vineyard Cabernet from Rutherford in the Napa Valley.
Crafted by critically acclaimed winemaker Mike Smith, these wines have great balance and ability to age. We hope you can try and see for yourself.

2020
Gold Medal winner at the AFW International Rosé competition.
This Clone 113 Pinot Noir Rosé is a complete stunner.
Sangiacomo Tallgrass Pinot Noir clone 113 is rose gold in color, with perfume of white peach, orange blossoms and Asian pear. The wine enters the palate with an elegant and layered expression of cranberry, passion fruit, wild strawberries and tangerine. The 2020 finishes long and juicy with just the right amount of acidity to make a lively finish.

2019
From the Sangiacomo Tallgrass Pinot Noir Vineyard, harvested as "Rosé - On Purpose" at 21.6 brix - The Kindred Rosé shows off an illuminous salmon hue and heady perfume of sweet jasmine and peach blossoms.
The palate is focused with notes of sweet strawberry and red fruits & laced with light citrus, white flowers, essence of guava and poached pear. The finish is fresh, honey-crisp and mouthwatering wild strawberry, clover and light clementine. A perfect summer sipper!

“Very pale salmon color. The nose, while tightly wound at first, offers after a while notes of creamy strawberry, white peach, and a bit of juicy pink grapefruit. I’m happy to say it’s a very fine and easy to drink, well-crafted glass of Sonoma coast summertime.
